FRONT ROYAL, Va. (7News) \u2014 <\/span>The Royal Family knows how to travel in style. <\/p>\n

King Charles III and Queen Camilla wrapped their White House visit with a stop at several Virginia landmarks, including Arlington Cemetery and a roughly 70-mile trip to Front Royal, Virginia, near the Shenandoah National Park. <\/p>\n

Hundreds of US residents lined Main Street to get a glimpse of Their Majesties and their royal visit, and were greeted by Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger. <\/p>\n

“We spent three and a half years in England with the Air Force,” Mike LeBlanc, Ferryville, Virginia, told 7News. <\/p>\n

LeBlanc said he admires the Royal Family’s responsibility to the crown.<\/p>\n

“…their proper way of handling the business and taking it seriously, what their job is, and taking care of the people of England,” LeBlanc added.<\/p>\n

While the ride through Front Royal was quick, many residents said they were able to catch a small glimpse. <\/p>\n

“We were shaking a bit.” Miriam ‘Boo’ Campbell and Susan Madagan told 7News. <\/p>\n

“They [King Charles and Queen Camilla] were smiling; we’re just so thrilled. My father used to take us to all the presidential inaugurations, and this was right up there with that.” Madagan said. <\/p>\n
