Skye Newman and Sienna Spiro are the latest acts to be supported as part of <\/span>BBC Radio 1\u2019s Brit List<\/span><\/a> initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n Radio 1 New Music Show presenter <\/span>Jack Saunders<\/span><\/a> revealed the Brit List addition on air last night (April 30).<\/span><\/p>\n The station\u2019s initiative for developing UK artists, which launched in 2017, provides playlisting and other opportunities. Music Week previously revealed the <\/span>expanded role for the Brit List<\/span><\/a> to provide further support.<\/span><\/p>\n Sienna Spiro<\/span><\/a> currently has two Top 75 singles with Top 10 hit Die On This Hill and The Visitor, which peaked at No.11. She has also achieved US Hot 100 chart success.<\/span><\/p>\n Skye Newman<\/span><\/a> had a Top 5 hit with Family Matters, as well as Top 20 results with Hairdresser and FU & UF.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n Both artists have been extensively playlisted on the network.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Skye Newman said: \u201cBig love to Radio 1 for all their support the last year and for now including me in the Brit list.
