Jock is missed. I hope you and your loved ones are doing well! \ud83e\udd0d\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The 46-year-old Scottish chef was found dead in a Melbourne hotel room in April 2023 after Lauren \u2014 who was in Italy at the time \u2014 reportedly asked police to conduct a welfare check after failing to contact him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The couple had relocated to Rome with their young children, Alfie and Isla, with Jock travelling back to Australia to film MasterChef.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">His cause of death has never been revealed and will remain a mystery to the public after a coroner chose not to release the findings of a 16 month-long investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cAt the close of the investigation, the coroner determined that the finding would not be published,\u201d a Victoria Coroners Court spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">At the time of his passing, police confirmed the death was not be treated as suspicious but speculation about his cause of death ran rife.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The TV star\u2019s well-documented struggles with drugs and mental illness led to more speculation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">It was also revealed Zonfrillo had secretly battled bowel cancer in the years before his death and was receiving treatment for it from at least June 2021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">A source told the media that even he kept his health battle a secret from friends.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cNo one in his circle knows what he is going through. Neither colleagues nor friends,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cHe has not wanted anyone to know as he deals with this tough journey.
