Mr Trump was the last state visitor the Queen received in the UK, as in 2020 and 2021, they were severely limited due to the Covid<\/a>-19 pandemic. Royal author Robert Hardman spoke about King Charles\u2019s recent state visit to the US and reminisced about speaking with Mr Trump in the Oval Office of the White House.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He said he wanted to give him a copy of his new biography, Elizabeth II.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The author told Mr Trump how he was the last state visitor Elizabeth ever received.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

To which the US President replied jokingly: \u201cI was the last? I hope I didn’t do anything to offend her!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mr Hardam said to the Daily Mail<\/a>: \u201c pointed out that she had found him, according to those close to her, ‘charming, tall, tanned, big, courteous, mid-century’ and also ‘amusing’.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mr Trump then gave a blunt verdict: \u201c’I’ve had better and I’ve certainly had worse.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It comes as Mr Trump announced a major move regarding tariffs imposed on the UK after Charles’s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He added: \u201cThe King and Queen got me to do something that nobody else was able to do, without hardly even asking! A wonderful Honor to have them both in the USA.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
