Two princesses<\/a> have been targeted by a suspected far-right extremist who reportedly planned to harm them. The extremist, who is in custody, was arrested after he was believed to have been plotting to kill Dutch princesses Princess Catharina-Amalia,<\/a> 22, the heir apparent to the Dutch throne, and her sister Princess Alexia, 20, earlier this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The suspect was allegedly found with two axes. These axes had words engraved, including \u201cAlexia\u201d, \u201cMossad\u201d, which is Israel<\/a>\u2019s intelligence agency, and the Nazi salute \u201cSieg Heil\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The unnamed 33-year-old suspect also reportedly had a handwritten note with the words \u201cAmalia\u201d, \u201cAlexia\u201d and \u201cbloodbath\u201d written on it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The suspect is set to appear at a preliminary court hearing on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It is not known what the suspect\u2019s motive was and why he wanted to target King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Queen M\u00e1xima\u2019s two oldest daughters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is believed to have had an impact on the princess, with her mother Queen M\u00e1xima saying at the time: \u201cShe can\u2019t live in Amsterdam and she can\u2019t really go outside [the palace]. It has enormous consequences on her life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Dutch Royal Family have not commented on this latest case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

They were seen together just days ago as they celebrated King\u2019s Day, the day of the King\u2019s birthday, last Monday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The event saw them attend a street party, meet the public and go ice skating.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
