The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian<\/strong> and Kanye West<\/strong> has been experimenting with both fake and real accessories, and in a new music video for her song \u201c#n0rth4ev,” she debuted what looks like dermals below her eyes and on her nose.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear if the new jewelry is real, but it\u2019s probably safe to assume they\u2019re fake. She\u2019s shared videos wearing fake piercings on her face in her viral TikTok content.<\/p>\n

North does have other piercings, though. She debuted her first finger piercing in 2025. Then, on February 5, she showcased more than a dozen piercings<\/a> across her hands and fingers.<\/p>\n

At least three were on her fingers, with additional studs and spikes decorating her hands and wrists. It\u2019s unclear which of the piercings are real.<\/p>\n

The original piercing, a dermal or single-point piercing, which lies flat against the skin and lacks a separate entry and exit point, sparked immediate backlash, with critics claiming it was too painful and risky for a pre-teen. But North has made it clear she is committed to the piercing life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She even celebrated the look in a song collaboration with her father, titled \u201cPiercing on My Hand (Ye\u2019s Version),\u201d rapping, \u201cPiercing on my hand, the other holding bands,\u201d and \u201cI\u2019m not sure I\u2019m crazy \/ I want more piercings and tats \/ I love blue hair put it in some plaits.\u201d<\/p>\n

She puts me on to so many brands, like she just loves what she loves. And it\u2019s just really fun to see someone be so creative. And also know herself so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

The mother of four acknowledged the challenges of parenting under public scrutiny, admitting that she makes mistakes in front of the world but asking for a \u201clittle bit of grace.\u201d After the corset backlash<\/a> she shared, \u201cI\u2019m like, okay, we\u2019re never wearing that again. Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world. As a mom, you\u2019re kind of like learning at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n

When North posted photos showing off fake piercings and face tattoos for a Halloween costume as \u201cOpium Powerpuff girls,\u201d they got immediate backlash as usual. The duo responded on TikTok, \u201cThis is such a non-issue.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kim later clarified the situation, explaining that the piercings and tattoos were not real, recounting North\u2019s reaction to online criticism. \u201cI mean, this whole thing about how horrible it is and it’s disturbing. And [North] was like, \u2018I don’t get it. It’s like a Halloween costume. It’s all fake.”<\/p>\n

North has also made her voice heard. In a January TikTok, she shared a compilation video<\/a> of people making bad reactions with the caption, “Me every time I see a grown adult talk shit about North West bc of her style and piercings.”\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
