The Celebrity Traitors season two lineup teased in trailer <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The BBC has confirmed the names of all 21 stars who have signed up for series two of the Celebrity Traitors<\/a> – and this year\u2019s \u201cbig dogs<\/a>\u201d look set to be Jerry Hall and Miranda Hart<\/a> or perhaps Michael Sheen and Richard E Grant.<\/p>\n

The show, set amid the beauty of the Scottish Highlands at Ardross Castle, is due to start filming over the weekend with the celebs due to start arriving today.<\/p>\n

Also taking part are University Challenge presenter Amol Rajan, The Last of Us actress Bella Ramsey and comedian James Acaster – not to be confused with Beautiful singer James Blunt, who is also in the castle.<\/p>\n

Then there are comedy stars Joanne McNally and Joe Lycett<\/a>, former Corrie legend Julie Hesmondhalgh and social media content creator King Henry. Little Mix<\/a> star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has signed along with Love Island<\/a> presenter Maya Jama<\/a>, Industry actress Myha\u2019la and BBC<\/a> maths guru Professor Hannah Fry.<\/p>\n

Rob Beckett with be bringing laughs along with his TV sidekick Romesh Ranganathan, flanked by former EastEnder Ross Kemp and My Mad Fat Diary star Sharon Rooney plus musician and actor Sebastian Croft – best known as young Ned Stark in Game of Thrones.<\/p>\n

Once the show starts filming this weekend, the 21 players will be separated into Traitors and Faithfuls, following lengthy interviews with presenter Claudia Winkleman<\/a> and members of the production team.<\/p>\n

From that point onwards, their mission will be to discover which of them are paying nightly visits to the turret wearing the greed hooded cloaks – to decide which of the remaining group will be murdered.<\/p>\n

Rather than take any winnings themselves, the celebrity players will again be donating any takings from the jackpot fund to their chosen charities. Although filming now, the series is not expected to air on BBC1<\/a> until the autumn, as it did last year when the likes of Sir Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, Paloma Faith, Charlotte Church and Jonathan Ross took part.<\/p>\n

The series proved a huge hit with 15million viewers tuning in across the run and a peak audience of 15.4m for the finale which was won by Alan, who unmasked himself as a Traitor in the final moments, before collapsing in tears with the strain of it all. That end scene has now been nominated for the TV Moment of the Year gong at the BAFTAs next weekend.<\/p>\n

In recent months there has been much wild speculation about who might take part in 2026, with reports suggesting that Danny Dyer, Ruth Jones, Liam Gallagher<\/a>, Cheryl Tweedy and Peter Crouch would be in the castle. Other wrong suggestions included Alison Hammond<\/a> and Louis Theroux.<\/p>\n
