Any fan who\u2019s been looking forward to The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em><\/a> probably knows by now that Lady Gaga has teamed up with Doechii on an original song for the film called \u201cRunway.\u201d<\/a> (It\u2019s a house music-inspired tune that\u2019s overflowing with attitude.) But that\u2019s not the only music Gaga penned for the long-awaited sequel. She contributed three new songs for the soundtrack, which officially dropped today. \u201cShape of a Woman\u201d and \u201cGlamorous Life\u201d join \u201cRunway\u201d in the lineup.<\/p>\n

In fact, Gaga actually performs \u201cShape of a Woman\u201d in the film during her cameo. Following a tense exchange with Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), she takes the stage (or the catwalk, rather) at a Runway<\/em> magazine event in Milan and sings while models strut past her.<\/p>\n

Apparently, Streep had a part in casting the pop star for that scene. \u201cI thought, why don\u2019t I get Gaga, because she\u2019s so great and she loves fashion,\u201d Streep told Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> during a recent late-night appearance. \u201cAnd I had her number.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gaga was so excited on the call that she said yes before Streep could explain her request. \u201cI said, \u2018Well, I haven\u2019t asked you what I\u2019m gonna ask you,\u2019\u201d Streep said, but Gaga replied, \u201cYeah, anything. What do you want?\u201d Luckily, it all worked out.<\/p>\n
