\n\tIn a message shared with fans, Malone said the decision came after reassessing the timeline between his live schedule and recording commitments.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLooking at the upcoming schedule\u2026 I came to the realization that what we\u2019re trying to do, and what\u2019s possible, isn\u2019t really lining up,\u201d he wrote, adding that he needed additional time to finish new music.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe truth is, I promised y\u2019all beautiful people new music, and I don\u2019t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain\u2019t ready for tour just yet, so I\u2019m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe postponement affects the first six dates of the Live Nation-produced tour, which had been scheduled to begin May 13 in El Paso, Texas, with additional stops in Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa and Oxford, Mississippi. The tour is now expected to launch June 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina, following a roughly three-week delay.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe artist has been teasing a new project, reportedly titled The Eternal Buzz<\/em>, though no release date has been confirmed. He indicated the album remains unfinished, despite earlier speculation that it was close to completion.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat being said, I\u2019m so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y\u2019all. That THAT being said, we been making some badass s\u2014 for this double album\u2026 and I can\u2019t wait to perform for y\u2019all again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe delay comes as Malone looks to follow up a period of sustained commercial success. His 2023 album Austin<\/em> debuted in the top 5 of the Billboard 200, while earlier releases such as Hollywood\u2019s Bleeding<\/em> produced multiple chart-topping singles, including \u201cCircles,\u201d which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n
