Princess Charlotte is growing up.<\/p>\n
Her parents, Prince William and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, posted a portrait of their daughter on their official Instagram account to celebrate her 11th birthday on May 2.<\/p>\n
The photo captures Charlotte looking as grown as ever, hair long and natural, in a cozy sweater and jeans as she stands in a field of daisys.<\/p>\n
The photo of Charlotte follows\u00a0last year\u2019s birthday picture<\/a>\u00a0of her, when she wore a camouflage jacket surrounded by grass and rolling hills behind her.<\/p>\n Charlotte is the second of William and Kate’s\u00a0three children<\/a>, along with older brother George, 12, and younger brother Louis, who was\u00a0honored with his own portrait<\/a>\u00a0when he turned 8 last month.<\/p>\n It\u2019s been a busy year for Charlotte, since she\u00a0celebrated her last birthday<\/a>\u00a0in 2025.<\/p>\n On Christmas Eve, her parents\u2019 social media accounts shared a video of her and her mother\u00a0playing \u201cHolm Sound\u201d<\/a>\u00a0on the piano together.<\/p>\n In October, her father opened up about his three kids, revealing Charlotte loves to jump on a trampoline at home, play netball and practice ballet.<\/p>\n \u201cSo keeping them busy with sports and just being outdoors is really important,\u201d he\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0on the Apple TV+ series \u201cThe Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy.\u201d<\/p>\n In July, Charlotte and George went with their parents to\u00a0watch the men\u2019s singles final<\/a>\u00a0at Wimbledon and was snapped covering her mouth in what looked like surprise while taking in the match between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.<\/p>\n She also\u00a0joined her mother<\/a>\u00a0at the Trooping the Colour event last June, the first time her mother took part in it since she announced her cancer\u00a0was in remission<\/a>.
