He was 81.<\/p>\n Beau died peacefully of natural causes on April 24 in Vancouver, Canada, according to his brother, fellow actor Mike Starr, per TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mike, 75, called his brother “very unique and special,\u201d adding that Beau helped raise him and was a tremendous influence on his life, per the outlet.<\/p>\n Beau appeared as Sheriff Ben Meeker in the horror films Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers<\/em> (1988) and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers<\/em> (1989), according to his IMDb bio<\/a>.<\/p>\n Beau Starr in the show ‘True Blue’ in 1990 He was also cast in Martin Scorsese<\/a>‘s 1990 classic Goodfellas<\/em>, and was known for his long-running role in the show Due South<\/em> as Lt.
