For that I am grateful,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the days that followed, unfortunately, commentators in various media have engaged in self-feeding speculation that is simply unmoored from the facts,\u201d Vrabel added, claiming that she was choosing to step away to halt speculation.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of Russini\u2019s resignation, she was <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/10\/entertainment\/dianna-russini-sidelined-by-new-york-times-after-internal-investigation-into-bombshell-mike-vrabel-photos-raised-additional-concerns\/\">sidelined by the outlet<\/a> amid an investigation, a source previously told us.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Russini (seen here in 2019) resigned from the Atlantic after Page Six published photos of her and Vrabel in Arizona together. <span class=\"credit\">Dianna Russini\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>In the photos, Russini (seen here) and Vrabel were photographed holding hands. <span class=\"credit\">dmrussini\/instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Vrabel and Russini, who are both <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/entertainment\/who-is-jen-mike-vrabel-wife\/\">married to other people<\/a>, previously denied any wrongdoing, insisting that they were at the resort with other friends who weren\u2019t visible in the photos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe photos don\u2019t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues,\u201d Russini told Page Six in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable.
