Speaking at a Movember event, Harry revealed that he struggled when becoming a father<\/a> for the first time in 2019. He also addressed how he has been to therapy in the past to deal with some of the things he went through during his childhood.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At the event, held at the Whitten Oval in Melbourne, Harry revealed: \u201cI knew that I had stuff from the past that I needed to deal with (before becoming a dad).\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He continued: \u201cFor me, there\u2019s an element of choosing therapy because you have something or you think there\u2019s something that needs fixing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s also the other piece of therapy, which is preventative and getting ahead of it. You don\u2019t have to wait until you\u2019re lying on the kitchen floor in the foetal position.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It is believed Harry, who quit royal life in 2020, had therapy before his son Prince Archie was born.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Harry seems content now<\/a>, especially with his life in Montecito, former royal editor Duncan Larcombe said he thinks Harry seems \u201cmore unhappy\u201d now than ever, however he didn\u2019t say why he thinks the duke feels this way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking to New magazine, Duncan said: \u201cHe\u2019s (Prince Harry<\/a>) been quite open about his childhood being flawed and traumatic, and his personality is very much \u2018 wear your heart on your sleeve\u2019, which is maybe why he is the one, as opposed to William, who seems tortured by it and why he\u2019s making these emotional outbursts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThere must have been times when that\u2019s been difficult for Meghan, too. But he seems more unhappy now than he\u2019s ever been.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
