Meghan Markle<\/a> opened up about her \u201cloyalty\u201d when it comes to fashion<\/a> during a new interview following her Australian trip with Prince Harry. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent four days Down Under undertaking engagements close to their hearts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking to The Australian Women’s Weekly<\/a>, Meghan said: \u201cMy husband and I have such an affinity for Australia. I said to him the day we were flying out, \u2018The only thing better than Australia is Australians.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The couple\u2019s itinerary featured philanthropic endeavours, learning about Indigenous culture, and Australian sport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meghan was seen wearing various outfits throughout the trip, sparking a frenzy among her followers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the new interview, Meghan spoke about the impact fashion can have.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She said: \u201cFashion is one of the most powerful industries. It influences how we feel and what we project. And even if you don\u2019t say a word, you can convey something in what you wear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOver the last several years, I would hear about an incorrect designer getting credit for something I wore, either via affiliate links or press, and that never seemed fair.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She then said about loyalty: \u201cCredit where credit is due. These brands and designers work so hard and take great pride in their work, and I choose them for a reason. Either supporting a friend, being brand loyal, or the reasons I mentioned earlier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cSo it\u2019s always been important to me that the correct designer is credited.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meghan also added that she likes to have fun with her looks and spoke about the green mini dress she wore on her most recent trip to Australia by designer Frank Anya.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She said: “The more 1960s-inspired feeling of the Friends with Frank shift dress (that I paired with sheer black tights and vintage earrings I found on The RealReal) felt fun and playful.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
