\u201cHe thinks the world of Jessica,\u201d spills the insider. \u201cThey\u2019ve known each other for a while.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2023, the blonde bombshell told People<\/i><\/a> she was traveling between Tennessee and California \u2014 where kids Maxwell<\/strong>, 14, Ace<\/strong>, 12, and Birdie<\/strong>, 7, are based \u2014 every two weeks while working on her two-part Nashville Canyon<\/i> album.<\/p>\n

According to In Touch\u2019s insider, Simpson, 45, has kept up the schedule since splitting from husband <\/a>Eric Johnson<\/b><\/a> ahead of the recording project\u2019s release last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of Keith\u2019s interest in Jessica comes down to their shared ambitions in country music,\u201d the insider admits, noting the \u201cLet It Roll\u201d performer, 58, admires the \u201cWith You\u201d singer\u2019s \u201cgrit and seriousness about her career.\u201d \u201cAs artists, they\u2019re aligned in so many ways.\u201d<\/p>\n
