Although the biggest night in fashion has seen megastars like <\/span>Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> and <\/span>Zendaya<\/strong><\/a> hit the iconic red steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, even some of the biggest celebs have yet to make their debut.<\/span><\/p>\n

When it comes to the <\/span>Friends<\/span> alum’s attendance at the Met Gala\u2014which this year takes place on May 4\u2014she made it clear it’s definitely a personal preference<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It overwhelms me,” Jennifer admitted to <\/span>Glamour<\/span><\/a> in September. “It’s the getting ready, the putting on the dress. I’m a ‘jeans and flip-flops and tank top’ kind of girl.”\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I love dressing up too, but for me it’s a mental game of\u2026 ‘Let’s get dressed up, put on a fancy dress, makeup, get your hair all ‘purdy’ and go sit in a big room with your peers,'” she continued. “Everyone’s there to celebrate each other and have some fun, but I get nervous.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While <\/span>Zendaya has proven just how euphoric her looks are at the event, her rumored husband <\/span>Tom Holland<\/strong><\/a> hasn’t taken a step in the Met Gala spotlight.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
