MAGA supporters are not letting up when it comes to Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>, as the late-night host is once again criticized for joking about death.<\/p>\n Last week, Kimmel received backlash<\/a> after a joke he made during a spoof White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner speech<\/a>, in which he said Melania Trump<\/a> had the \u201cglow of an expectant widow.\u201d Two days later, President Donald Trump<\/a> faced an apparent assassination attempt.<\/a><\/p>\n Now, the comedian is under attack for making a quip about former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani<\/a>, who was hospitalized on Sunday (May 3)<\/a> and is said to be in critical condition. Kimmel made the joke about Trump\u2019s former attorney on last Tuesday\u2019s<\/a> (April 28) Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n While talking about the situation surrounding his Melania joke, Kimmel said, \u201cSo last night, America\u2019s mayor, Rudy Giuliani, rose from the grave to weigh in on the ongoing drama involving me.\u201d<\/p>\n On his podcast, Giuliani called Kimmel \u201cone of the most distasteful human beings in this country,\u201d adding, \u201cThis is supposed to be a comedian\u2026 He\u2019s also like an incompetent jackass.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI have to say, it hurts to be called distasteful by a man who farted his own pants off in front of Borat\u2019s daughter,\u201d Kimmel retorted. \u201cIt\u2019s confusing to be called an incompetent jackass by a man who accidentally held a press conference outside a dildo store, who doesn\u2019t seem to have any understanding of when videos are running and when they aren\u2019t, and has a gallon of squid ink dribbling off the top of his head.\u201d<\/p>\n Following Giuliani\u2019s hospitalization on Sunday, several MAGA supporters brought up Kimmel\u2019s near-week-old joke.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter making Trump assassination jokes, Jimmy Kimmel joked about Rudy Giuliani last week, saying he \u2018rose from the grave.\u2019 It was just announced tonight that Rudy was hospitalized and is in critical condition,\u201d wrote MAGA podcaster<\/a> Benny Johnson on X. \u201cWhy is Kimmel always joking about death?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cKimmel is literally the kiss of death,\u201d wrote one commenter.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s almost like Kimmel knows something is going to happen a day or two before it does\u2026hmmmmmm,\u201d said another.<\/p>\n Another wrote, \u201cIt\u2019s almost as though he has mole inside that lets him know about things and he gets to joke about it ahead of time and then play innocent later.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhat does Jimmy Kimmel know beforehand to make these types of \u201cjokes\u201d before these events happened?\u201d one X user added.<\/p>\n Giuliani\u2019s spokesperson, Ted Goodman, confirmed the former mayor was hospitalized on Sunday, writing on X,<\/a> \u201cMayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he\u2019s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak.
