It has not been six years since the Sussexes moved across the pond permanently, after Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior working royals in early 2020. Now, a royal commentator has claimed Archie’s birthday this week will be a painful reminder of the royal rift for the monarch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told the Mirror<\/a>: \u201cI think King Charles is full of regrets over the whole situation, he definitely wouldn\u2019t have wanted it to go this way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It comes as the King did not meet with his estranged son during his four-day state visit to the US last week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Charles and Camilla carried out engagements in Washington, New York and Virginia, in what was seen as a hugely successful trip across the pond.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But the King did not arrange a meeting with Harry, who was just a few miles away during his father\u2019s stay in the US.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
