Trump\u2019s topics included his thoughts on King Charles, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry<\/strong>, and Prince William<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Royal biographer Robert Hardman sat down with President Donald Trump<\/a> in the Oval Office during King Charles and Queen Camilla\u2019s four-day state visit to the United States. During this meeting, Hardman presented Trump with a copy of his new biography on the late Queen Elizabeth, for which he had interviewed the President. <\/p>\n

In the private meeting with Trump, Hardman sought Trump\u2019s opinion on several family members, including Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and Prince William.<\/p>\n

Trump, a renowned admirer of the Royal family, said (via PEOPLE<\/a>), \u201cWe\u2019ve done a good job with the King, right?\u2026 He\u2019s a great guy, he really is.\u201d He proceeded to ask Hardman about King Charles\u2019 son and heir. \u201cWilliam, he\u2019ll be a good King, won\u2019t he?\u201d Trump asked and added, \u201cHe\u2019s very nice. A great guy. I like him.\u201d <\/p>\n

Trump also had positive things to say about Kate, Princess of Wales. \u201cHow\u2019s she doing? She\u2019s so great. She was sick, people said crazy things about her, and she was so brave,\u201d the 79-year-old added. Trump even asked about the future generation of the Royal Family, including Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 8. <\/p>\n

According to Hardman, Trump\u2019s reverence was not uniform among all family members. \u201cSo can Harry make a comeback?\u201d he said, referring to Prince Harry. Commenting on Meghan Markle, who remains one of the most controversial figures in the Royal Family, Trump added, \u201cThat wife of his. Boy, what she\u2019s done to that guy\u2026 I guess she got blocked out by William\u2019s wife.\u201d<\/p>\n
