May the 4th Be With You!<\/strong> Today is Star Wars Day, and we\u2019ve got a lot<\/em> of Star Wars news to share! From the expanded Galaxy\u2019s Edge timeline we\u2019ve all been waiting for (complete with new characters and new music) to all-new novelties and merch from a galaxy far, far away\u2026 there\u2019s a lot to uncover.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Plus, we\u2019ve got a shriek peek at Halloween Time (and Oogie Boogie Bash) merch, and we\u2019ll tell you how you can win a fabulous Disneyland Resort vacation\u2026 we\u2019ve got a good feeling about this!<\/p>\n

May The 4th Be With You<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As we celebrate Star Wars Day, let\u2019s also celebrate that Disneyland has finally loosened the reins on Star Wars: Galaxy\u2019s Edge, allowing your favorite characters from across the timeline to finally appear in the park\u2019s Star Wars land.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Even former Disney CEO Bob Iger was there to check things out. He spent time watching the characters, observing the crowd\u2019s reaction, and taking more than a few photos with guests who spotted him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Expanded Galaxy\u2019s Edge Timeline<\/h3>\n

Since its 2019 grand opening, Star Wars: Galaxy\u2019s Edge has been locked in a very narrow timeline during the sequel trilogy era; however, on March 29, the land\u2019s timeline constraints were unshackled, finally allowing Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Darth Vader to arrive at Black Spire Outpost.<\/p>\n

Although they haven\u2019t quite nailed the look of some of the characters yet, it\u2019s absolutely wonderful to have them interacting with guests and each other in the land. Particularly around the parked Millennium Falcon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But the real star of this revived Star Wars land is Darth Vader\u2026 The baddest of the baddies that we all love to hate\u2026<\/p>\n

Just seeing Lord Vader with the Stormtroopers instantly connects this land to Star Wars nostalgia, which fixes many of the issues we had with the land when it first opened.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our good friends the @Hey.Insiders stumbled upon Darth Vader\u2026 who actually paused to take a photo!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

But don\u2019t worry, Rey, Ahsoka Tano, The Mandalorian, and Grogu are all still on Batuu, along with Chewbacca and R2-D2.<\/p>\n

Who won\u2019t you see?<\/strong> Vi Moradi and Kylo Ren have departed Batuu.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And while we may not see Vi Moradi for a while, Kylo Ren is available to meet in Tomorrowland at the Disney Visa photo spot in the Star Wars Launch Bay. \u00a0<\/p>\n

It Finally Sounds Like Star Wars<\/h3>\n

But perhaps more important than even the characters is the new musical score of the land. Walking into Galaxy\u2019s Edge now sounds like watching the beginning of a Star Wars film\u2026 and throughout the land, you\u2019ll hear that beautiful John Williams music playing. You may not always notice it, but it\u2019s there, setting the mood and instantly connecting what you are seeing with the Star Wars films.<\/p>\n
