The Kid Mero<\/a> is calling out people who are celebrating Megan Thee Stallion<\/a> and Klay Thompson<\/a>‘s breakup.<\/p>\n

During Monday\u2019s episode (April 27) of Mornings with Mero<\/em> on Hot 97, Mero and his co-hosts reacted to the headline-heavy split between the 31-year-old Traumazine<\/em> rapper and the Dallas Mavericks star, 36.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you’re one of those people that is looking at this as like a sporting event, like, ‘Yo, the City Boys is up,\u2019 you’re a weirdo, bro,\u201d he said at the 2:35 mark in the video linked here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He added, “I mean, listen, they’re public people so it comes with the territory. If you rap and you’re famous and you have a relationship with somebody, people are going to talk about it. Nobody cares about who l’m married to, l’m just a Dominican guy with a regular job.\u201d<\/p>\n

Further into the segment, Mero suggested, \u201cMegan, Klay, listen: just text each other on the side, take us out the group chat. Send encrypted messages to each other, figure it out. Get the PR thing, figure it out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe could have been a victim of love bombing. Klay is a lightskinned dude, you know what l’m saying?\u201d Mero joked. \u201cHe could have been laying around mad thick, you know he could have been hitting her with R&B quotes.”<\/p>\n
