Grammy award-winning artist Laufey has said it felt \u201cvery primal\u201d to slap Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams with a fish in her latest music video.<\/p>\n
The 27-year old Icelandic musician, born Laufey Jonsdottir, starred alongside Williams in her \u201960s-style music video for her song Madwoman.<\/p>\n
The five-minute video shows Laufey and Williams sip tea by a poolside before she sees his face with another woman on the cover of a magazine \u2013 alluding to some sort of infidelity.<\/p>\n
The star reacts by grabbing a fish from a platter and whacking it across Williams\u2019 face, causing him to fall into the pool.<\/p>\n
The singer told the BBC: \u201cOh my God, it was amazing. It was cathartic.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had a lot of unreleased energy that I released on poor Hudson.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not a very angry person but it felt good to scream and shout,\u201d she said. \u201cI dug into my deepest memories of when I\u2019ve been the most wronged by men and I accessed a part of myself I didn\u2019t know I had in me.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt felt very primal.\u201d<\/p>\n
Williams, 25, rose to fame after starring in the hit HBO hockey-romance series Heated Rivalry alongside Connor Storrie.<\/p>\n

Is she a cellist?\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cI find with my younger audience, they don\u2019t have this predetermined bias for what they\u2019re meant to enjoy.
