\u201cHit the Wall,\u201d a new song from Gracie Abrams<\/a>, is coming soon. The track is scheduled for release at 2 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT on Thursday, May 14, Abrams revealed in an announcement posted on social media at the start of the weekend.<\/p>\n \u201c\u2018Hit the Wall,’\u201d Abrams wrote on Instagram<\/a> on Friday (May 1), disclosing its title. \u201cMy new song is out everywhere on May 14th at 5pm PST. I love it with everything I have. \u2013 DFH.\u201d<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n The news was unveiled with single art that shows the singer-songwriter standing directly in front of wild flames. The fiery image obscures the artist, who\u2019s mostly pictured as a shadowy silhouette.<\/p>\n \u201cDFH\u201d is presumed to be an acronym for Abrams\u2019 next album, which would be her third full-length studio release. Her debut set, Good Riddance<\/em>, was released on Interscope in 2023, followed by her sophomore album, 2024\u2019s The Secret of Us<\/em>. Abrams earned a top 10 on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the first time with The Secret of Us<\/em>, which debuted at No. 2.<\/p>\n Last month brought a new music snippet<\/a> that cut off just as the pop singer\u2019s vocals were about to begin. Abrams seemed to be teasing an upcoming project in the Instagram clip, though no details were given.<\/p>\n Prior to that there were in-studio snapshots with producer Aaron Dessner \u2014 plus pictures of a journal adorned with \u201cDFH\u201d stickers,\u201d a \u201c3\u201d sticker and a sticker of a witch \u2014 on Instagram.<\/p>\n In Abrams\u2019 cover story interview with Billboard<\/em><\/a> last year, she said, \u201cAaron and I are catching each other in these little pockets between hectic times. Every day that I live with the music, things start to become a little clearer.
