Henson<\/a> joined Meredith Lynch in criticizing the stars who attended this year\u2019s Met Gala<\/a>, since it is sponsored by honorary co-chairs Jeff Bezos and Lauren S\u00e1nchez Bezos.<\/p>\n \n\tLynch posted a video on Instagram<\/a> Saturday in which she warned A-listers not to wear their \u201cICE Out\u201d pins to the \u201cJeff Bezos-backed\u201d Met Gala because \u201cJeff Bezos is part of the reason we\u2019re in this fucking mess.\u201d By \u201cthis fucking mess,\u201d Lynch means Donald Trump\u2019s presidency, which Bezos supported. While Lynch acknowledged that the \u201cMet is a wonderful institution in New York City\u201d that donates the funds from the gala to \u201ca good cause,\u201d she added that it is \u201cwild to me that this event is sponsored by Jeff Bezos, who has backed Trump, who has slashed arts funding.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHenson commented on the post, \u201cI am so confused by some ppl that are going. I am just like WTF ARE WE DOING!?!?!?!\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tOn her Instagram Story, Henson reshared a post that slammed Bezos for owning a $500 million superyacht while also having workers in Amazon warehouses that \u201cface precarious conditions, low wages and high injury rates.\u201d Henson captioned her Instagram Story, \u201cEnjoy the MET.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tDespite the outrage, the controversial sponsor did not stop some of Hollywood\u2019s biggest stars from partying at the Met. Those in attendance<\/a> at Monday night\u2019s gala include Bad Bunny, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Connor Storrie, Teyana Taylor, Margot Robbie, Colman Domingo and Beyonc\u00e9, who is co-chairing this year\u2019s affair with Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour.<\/p>\n \n\tThe 2026 Met Gala Theme was \u201cFashion is Art,\u201d tied to the Metropolitan Museum of Art\u2019s Costume Art exhibition.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
