Miranda Lambert<\/a> will release a new single, \u201cCrisco,\u201d on May 15th, marking her first release under a newly announced label partnership with MCA. The song is available for pre-save now.<\/p>\n

The track blends country and \u201970s disco influences, built around strings, piano, and an uptempo groove. It was co-written by Lambert alongside Aaron Raitiere, Jesse Frasure, and Chill Fellacheck. The lyrics reference Glen Campbell\u2019s \u201cSouthern Nights\u201d and the Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton duet \u201cIslands in the Stream.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has so many elements of the country music that I love that I\u2019ve never put on tape,\u201d Lambert said in a statement. \u201cThere\u2019s a looseness to it, a joy. It feels like dancing in your kitchen with the person you love, spinning old records, not overthinking a thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The release comes shortly after \u201cA Song To Sing,\u201d her GRAMMY-nominated duet with Chris Stapleton. Her most recent solo album,\u00a0Postcards from Texas<\/em>, was released in 2024 and extended her streak of ten consecutive Top 10s on the Top Country Albums chart. Lambert is the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history and has received three GRAMMY Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards over the course of her career.<\/p>\n
