Released on May 1 in the US, the sequel follows Streep\u2019s iconic Miranda Priestly \u2013 the formidable editor-in-chief of Runway Magazine, widely believed to be inspired by Vogue\u2019s Anna Wintour<\/span><\/a>. Priestly is forced to reconnect with former assistant Andy Sachs (played by Anne Hathaway) to keep Runway afloat following a scandal.<\/div>\n

The two women enlist the help of Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt<\/span><\/a>), Miranda\u2019s other former assistant and Andy\u2019s former colleague. After being left bitterly disappointed at the end of the first movie, Emily has climbed up the career ladder and now works as a Dior executive.<\/div>\n

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is McGee\u2019s most high-profile role yet.<\/p>\n
