Former Spice Girl Melanie C has shared her ninth album, Sweat<\/em>. <\/p>\n Arriving six years on from her 2020 self-titled release, Sweat<\/em> is out via Virgin Music Group. The record includes the singles \u2018Sweat\u2019, \u2018What Could Possibly Go Wrong?\u2019, \u2018Undefeated Champion\u2019 and \u2018Attitude\u2019, along with the pulsating focus track \u2018Drum Machine\u2019. <\/p>\n \u201cDrum Machine is about finding someone who makes you feel alive again – that deep connection where love runs through your whole body, lifts your spirit, and sets your heart to a different beat,\u201d explains Melanie C of the hedonistic tune. <\/p>\n Sweat<\/em> is a throwback to Melanie C\u2019s early years as Melanie Chisholm of The F**king Yeah Four, a group of 18-year-old mates who immersed themselves in the rave scene of the early \u201890s. <\/p>\n Recorded in London, Stockholm and LA, Sweat<\/em> is a celebration of joy, movement and community, with the album containing 13 tracks of feel-good, upbeat EDM made for dancing. <\/p>\n The album unites every part of her story: the athlete, the pop icon, the underground DJ and the teenager who fell in love with rave culture. It\u2019s a record about resilience and joy in dark times. <\/p>\n \u201cThere are so many horrific things going on in the world, when you make pop and dance music, it can seem almost churlish,\u201d Melanie C says. \u201cBut music is what gets me through tough moments.
