Joe Burrow and Justin Jefferson teamed up on one of college football\u2019s<\/a> greatest teams, the 2019 LSU Tigers<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> quarterback and Minnesota Vikings<\/a> receiver remain close, despite going their separate ways in the NFL<\/a>.<\/p>\n In fact, Burrow and Jefferson attended the 2026 Met Gala<\/a> together on Monday, May 4. \u201cEntertainment Tonight\u201d<\/a> reporter Emily Curl caught up with Burrow at The Mark Hotel as he prepared to leave for New York City\u2019s premier fashion event.<\/p>\n MORE: Met Gala Red Carpet leads to hilarious Travis Kelce-Sam Smith confusion<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Burrow revealed what he and Jefferson did to prepare for the gala, and it included an unexpected admission about a TV show, per MLFootball on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, it was fun,\u201d Burrow said. \u201cI got my friend Justin here. We went to college together, so it\u2019s always a great time when I get to see him. \u2026 We watched some \u2018Sex and the City\u2019 and just hung out a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n The reporter couldn\u2019t help but ask Burrow which \u201cSex and the City\u201d character he is most like.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know about that. That might not be a question for me. That might be a question for somebody else who knows me,\u201d Burrow responded.<\/p>\n He is clearly a Miranda.<\/p>\n Burrow transferred to LSU from Ohio State before the 2018 season. He and Jefferson played together for two years, but they both emerged as stars in 2019. The Tigers went undefeated and won the national championship, defeating Clemson 42-25 in the title game.<\/p>\n Another of their teammates, Ja\u2019Marr Chase, also starred on the 2019 team.
