He also said they were \u201cpresented\u201d with the opportunity to settle.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was a willingness to get the case resolved, given the opportunity and the position the case was set, and so, you know, when we were presented with an opportunity, we took that opportunity,\u201d he said to NBC News<\/a>. <\/p>\n He gave another interview on Tuesday (May 5), where he again said the \u201copportunity\u201d came along to settle.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen an opportunity comes along that is way too good to pass up\u2026\u201d he told TMZ<\/a>. <\/p>\n After he said this, he was questioned if Blake<\/strong>\u2018s team approached Justin<\/strong>\u2018s team with the settlement, and Freedman <\/strong>said in response, \u201cIt\u2019s not a question of who the overture was made by.
