You may not have heard the name Craig Castaldo \u2013 but the chances are he has met all of your favourite Hollywood<\/a> stars.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s because Craig, more commonly known as Radioman, has had cameo roles in over 300 movies, including Shutter Island, The Wolf of Wall Street, Spider-Man, Forest Gump and Die Hard.<\/p>\n

And the names of the stars he has met along the way are equally impressive, from Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Christian Bale to Sandra Bullock.<\/p>\n

He has now opened up about what the most famous people on the planet are like \u2013 and revealed why Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a> was not always the \u201cfriendliest\u201d.<\/p>\n

Asked about starring in films with the Oscar winner, Craig, who famously walked the streets of New York with a radio around his neck, said: \u201cHe’s a good guy. He’s into all his look, his character, whatever it is. You don’t bother him when he’s working, you know, but we talk in-between here and there, you know. Leo’s a fun guy, you know, but he doesn’t, he’s not that \u2013 what do you call it \u2013 friendly in many ways to many people.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut because he’s into his production, you know, he’s working. He’s doing what he has to do and he hasn’t got time for games and stupidity and people’s BS \u2013 other than that he’s a good people. He’s a good guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig, who is now in his mid 70s and used to be homeless, began getting roles simply by hanging around film sets in New York City, before going on to be described as a \u201cfilm set mascot\u201d and a \u201clegend of the film world<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n

He was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens \u2013 and he fought in the Vietnam War before eventually getting into the industry while working on a newsstand in Manhattan.<\/p>\n

A documentary was made about him in 2012 where Robin Williams said: \u201cI think he has a longer resume than me in terms of movies in New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery movie that shoots in New York, well, most of them, if he knows somebody, he\u2019ll get a part in them.\u201d<\/p>\n

He has now opened up about his extraordinary life to podcaster James English<\/a> who also asked him about his relationship with Robin Williams.<\/p>\n

And speaking about his late friend, Craig said: \u201cHe was a very good person. He loved everybody. He cracked jokes, he\u2019d make funny things all the time. When we were on set, on camera and off camera, both ways. He was just a personable guy, you know. He didn\u2019t act like an actor.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cRobin was a good guy. I loved him. I really did. I hope you\u2019re hearing this up there or wherever you are.\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig also had kind words to say about Tom Cruise who he said always comes up to him, shakes his hand, and asks about he is when they see each other.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cAnd then when I went out to Pittsburgh when he was shooting Jack Reacher, I went there to get some autographs from him and he\u2019s never turned me down all the time. I get stuff signed and if he does, he says, \u2018Give me your address Radio, I\u2019ll send them to you.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cSure enough, within a month later, I get them in the mail and they\u2019re all signed. Tom Cruise. Crazy right? Great actor too. There\u2019s nothing like him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
