The band has yet to release any songs from the album.<\/p>\n<p><em>SPLAT!<\/em> will be Deep Purple&#8217;s 24th studio effort and their first since 2024&#8217;s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/deep-purple-2024-album-review\/\">=1<\/a>. It will be the sixth Deep Purple album in a row to be produced by Bob Ezrin, a streak that goes back to 2013&#8217;s\u00a0<em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/deep-purple-now-what\/\">Now What?!<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to a press release announcing the album, <em>SPLAT!<\/em> is based on a concept from singer <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/ian-gillan\/\">Ian Gillan<\/a>: &#8220;Rather than treating the end [of the world] as destruction, the album imagines it as transformation.
