Hayden Panetierre<\/a> made a big announcement about her love life prior to the release of her upcoming memoir,\u201cThis Is Me: A Reckoning\u201d (Grand Central Publishing).<\/a><\/p>\n The 36-year-old actor publicly came out as bisexualin an interview with US Weekly<\/a>\u00a0published Wednesday.<\/p>\n Buzz: <\/strong>\u2018That\u2019s ****** Up!\u2019: Stephen Colbert Gets Very Unexpected Help Roasting Pete Hegseth<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n It\u2019s something she said she has kept under wraps for years, despite being \u201cmuch more into women\u201d than men while she was growing up.<\/p>\n \u201cThe first time it even crossed my mind to touch on this subject was while I was in the process of writing this book,\u201d Panetierre admitted to the magazine.<\/p>\n Panetierre, known for her roles on \u201cHeroes\u201d and \u201cNashville\u201d as well as her previous engagement once upon a time to former heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko, said that she\u2019s chosen to \u201cbe completely brutally honest about\u201d her sexuality and said she was never able to do so before \u201cbecause it was just never the right time.\u201d<\/p>\n She said that when she was younger, \u201cno one ever encouraged me to just be myself, and then it came, the period of time, where it felt like people coming out, especially women coming out, and saying that they were bisexual, or liked girls, was a fad.\u201d<\/p>\n Buzz: <\/strong>Cardi B Revealed A ‘Secret’ At Met Gala That She Probably Should Have Kept To Herself<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Panetierre feared that even if she was truthful about her attraction to women, she would be accused of \u201cjumping on the bandwagon.\u201d<\/p>\n She said \u201cthe fear of not being perfect, and what my team was going to think about it, what the public\u2019s opinion was going to be about it\u201d kept her from being open about her sexuality.\u00a0<\/p>\n Her fame added another level of difficulty to coming out as bisexual.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was always scary, because my life, I mean, there were paparazzi always outside, waiting for me outside, to follow me everywhere,\u201d she said. \u201cI had very little privacy, and I mean, I have dated women.
