The late Ted Turner<\/a> and Jane Fonda shared in one of the most publicized marriages of the 1990s, wedding in 1991 until their permanent split in 2001.<\/p>\n

The two stayed married for roughly a decade, even though Fonda claimed to know of Turner’s infidelity<\/a> soon after their ceremony.<\/p>\n

Turner and Fonda were photographed aplenty during their relationship<\/a>, including at numerous Atlanta Braves games<\/a> since Turner was the out-in-front owner of the MLB franchise<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite separating at the turn of the millennium, Fonda said still held positive views of Turner, even calling him “my favorite ex-husband<\/a>.” We’ve not gotten word from Fonda on Turner’s death just yet.<\/p>\n

Why did Ted Turner and Jane Fonda get divorced?<\/h2>\n

According to <\/a>PEOPLE<\/em><\/a>, Fonda wrote in her memoir that their differences, including her decision to become a Christian, led to their decision to get divorced.<\/p>\n
