KANSAS CITY, Mo. \u2014 Kansas City Royals ace Cole Ragans had to exit the game early vs. the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Ragans left the game after the third inning due to tricep\/elbow soreness, being replaced by RHP Luinder Avila in the fourth inning.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Hawaiian Bros changes Royals promotion after massive increase in demand\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

It was an excellent outing up to that point for Ragans, who had pitched three scoreless innings and only allowed one hit.<\/p>\n

Ragans also had to leave the game early vs. the Guardians last month, after a comebacker hit his left thumb in the first inning.<\/p>\n

On the season, Ragans is 1-4 with a 5.29 ERA. He also dealt with injuries for much of his 2025 campaign.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, the injury is nothing long-term for the 28-year-old lefty.<\/p>\n
