An actor, bodybuilder and model has died aged 41, just a fortnight after posting a poignant message online. Jakub \u0141oza passed away at 3 am on Sunday, 3 May, his family confirmed to his tens of thousands of social media followers. Only his closest confidants were aware he had been battling an undisclosed illness for some time. A fortnight before his death, he posted online: “I’m currently undergoing treatment. It’s a real phase I’m going through. I’ve never asked, ‘Why me?’ I’ve always said, ‘Jesus, I trust in You. If this is the path, I accept it.’ And you know what? I’ve never felt more at peace than I do now.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nevertheless, news of his passing has stunned many. His representative, Ewa R\u0105czy, told local media it arrived “completely out of the blue”. She said: “We’d only seen each other recently through work. He was energetic, looked fantastic, and appeared to be in his prime. There was nothing to indicate anything was amiss. I had no clue, either from him or from his nearest and dearest, that he was facing any health issues.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jakub, who had 46,500 Instagram<\/a> followers, was recognised for roles in popular series and films including “Barwy szcz\u0119\u015bcia”, “Szpital \u015bw. Anny” and “Najpierw ucich\u0142y ptaki”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Beyond acting, he worked as a bodybuilder, personal trainer and model, and regularly encouraged his followers to prioritise their wellbeing and improve their lifestyle. Jakub is said to have lived in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to a local report from November 2018, he secured victory in the Classic Bodybuilding category at the UKUP (UK Ultimate Physiques) British Finals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ewa said: “He was excellent in front of the camera, with a natural ease around people. He was young, full of energy, committed and talented, but also warm and kind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The sort of person who gave something good to others ” through his presence, professionalism and positive energy. That makes his passing all the harder to come to terms with.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

His funeral is being held today in his Polish hometown of Rzesz\u00f3w.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
