Following the release of \u2018idea 1\u2019, she\u2019s shared the second taste of \u2018New Avatar\u2019 with the Oscar Scheller-produced \u2018linknb\u2019, which is described as the next step in Kelela\u2019s latest era.<\/p>\n Written during an intense period of writer\u2019s block, the track began as a mantra Kelela wrote to pull herself back into the work: \u201cIt\u2019s not hard to be brave\/ Easier to give too much away\/ All I know is that I paved the way, underpaid.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n \u2018New Avatar\u2019 revisits her R&B roots, blending distorted guitars with dance music, and also\u00a0features collaborations with PinkPantheress<\/a>, A. K.
