BY-SA<\/p>\nJurassic Park star Sam Neill, who\u2019s been battling lymphoma, has spoken out that he\u2019s cancer free and that now \u201cit\u2019s time I did another movie.\u201d<\/p>\n
The international A-lister from New Zealand was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, and immediately started chemotherapy as early as March, 2022.<\/p>\n
The cancer had already progressed, and he said that it had likely been there since 2021. His chemotherapy was \u201cpretty miserable business\u201d but it was keeping him alive, he told Australia\u2019s 7 News.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThen the chemo stopped working. I was at a loss and it looked like I was on the way out, which wasn\u2019t ideal obviously.\u201d<\/p>\n That\u2019s when Neill switched from chemotherapy drugs to Car T-cell therapy, a Nobel-Prize winning therapy that has changed the game<\/a> for the treatment of several cancers.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve just had a scan just now and there is no cancer in my body, that\u2019s an extraordinary thing,\u201d he admitted.<\/p>\n Neill says it\u2019s \u201cbeautiful\u201d he gets to watch his grandchildren grow up, but as regards the fans of his many fantastic films, he also said he\u2019s eyeing up a Hollywood return.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s time I did another movie,\u201d he said, adding that though the opportunity to work again was exciting, his battle with cancer changed his outlook on what remains of his life.<\/p>\n CELEBRATE Sam\u2019s Battle Won On Social Media With Your Friends\u2026\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
