Pryti recently released her affecting and inspirational\u00a0new single \u2018Zero\u2019<\/a>\u00a0and now she\u2019s revealed\u00a0a music video<\/a>\u00a0to match the positive vibrations of the track. As she says, it\u2019s\u00a0\u201cabout finding light when you\u2019re surrounded by darkness. It\u2019s about the hope that lives in that light.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Pryti has been exploring her spirituality since the release of last album \u2018Searching for Now, Lost in Again\u2019 in 2022.\u00a0\u201cMy psychic told me during a reading that Spirit was saying to put this particular frequency into my music, especially Zero, as it would help heal me and others. I didn\u2019t even tell her what the songs I was going to record were called,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Pryti says.\u00a0\u201cWhen I was getting the first mixes back I couldn\u2019t stop crying. It\u2019s very cathartic. I built illusions for myself and Lord Shiva tore them down.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The track\u00a0\u201cis about coming out of depression and going back in,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Pryti elaborates further.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s when you know rock bottom is coming and you don\u2019t want to be in the dark anymore so are desperately trying to find your way out of it.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>The track incorporates a driving instrumental with an oscillating piano line and a supreme vocal delivery. It truly is an anthem for the lost, an unfaltering search for light in the darkness.\u00a0\u201cHow do I start again?\u201d<\/em>\u00a0she says.\u00a0\u201cHow do you start from rock bottom?\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI write my music for people who don\u2019t fit in,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Pryti is proud to admit. In addition to her powerhouse vocals, the British-Indian singer-songwriter plays bass, guitar and piano, taking cues from artists like Architects, Deftones, Finch, Linkin Park and Paramore all the way through to the more pop-influenced likes of Now, Now, Halsey and Sarah McLachlan.
