Rimes has played Dixie Bennings on 9-1-1: Nashville<\/em> since its premiere in October 2025. In the clip from the Ringer<\/em> podcast, Lindsay said Rimes’ name was rumored to have been “floated around” for RHOBH<\/em>, which has been airing on Bravo since 2010.<\/p>\n“I’ll take it,” Lindsay, 41, said.<\/p>\n
The since-debunked casting rumor didn’t go over as well with everyone else. Brandi Glanville<\/a>, who boarded RHOBH<\/em> in 2011, addressed the potential casting in an\u00a0X<\/a>\u00a0post on Wednesday, May 6.<\/p>\n“<\/em>I hope it’s true about RHOBH I mean she got everything else of mine<\/a> \u2014 husband, kids, boobs, bronco, random illnesses she might as well just be a housewife and finish it off once and for all,” Glanville, 53, said.<\/p>\nGlanville’s response appeared to reference the affair Rimes had with the reality star’s ex-husband,\u00a0Eddie Cibrian<\/a>. Glanville and Cibrian, 52, share sons Mason Edward Cibrian, 22, and Jake Austin Cibrian, 19.
