Father John Misty has returned with a new song called \u2018The Payoff\u2019. It follows January\u2019s \u2018The Old Law\u2019, and it\u2019s noisy and grandiose in all the right ways. Josh Tillman co-produced the song with Drew Erickson, who\u2019s recently done beautiful work with Lana Del Rey and Mitski. Michael Harris mixed and engineered the track at Fivestar Studios in Topanga, CA.<\/p>\n
