Asian and Pacific Islander artists continue to shape the global soundscape, pushing creative boundaries and connecting with fans worldwide. This Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month (APIHM), Spotify is honored to celebrate their impact while spotlighting the next wave of artists defining what\u2019s next.<\/span><\/p>\n At the center of this year\u2019s celebration is our ongoing partnership with Gold House, the nonprofit collective of API leaders. For the fifth consecutive year, we\u2019re collaborating on the <\/span>Gold House Futures Music Accelerator<\/span><\/a>, a program designed to help rising artists grow their audiences and build momentum at key moments in their careers.<\/span><\/p>\n The 2026 class includes indie-pop singer <\/span>Mikayla Geier<\/b><\/a> and R&B artists <\/span>Joyce Wrice<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>Karri<\/b><\/a>. Continuing a tradition of the program, they\u2019ll release their very own Spotify Singles this month. Along with editorial and social support, they\u2019ll be featured on billboards in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto. We also hosted our annual Spotify masterclass in person at our Los Angeles office, giving the artists and their teams a chance to connect with our music experts and learn strategies for reaching new listeners.<\/span><\/p>\n For listeners in the U.S. and Canada, the celebration continues with the <\/span>Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month hub<\/span><\/a> on Spotify, featuring curated playlists, podcasts, and audiobooks from across the community.<\/span><\/p>\n Tune into our flagship playlist <\/span><\/i>Jasmine<\/span><\/i><\/a> to discover API artists from around the world, and stay tuned for a takeover from indie-pop duo <\/span><\/i>Wasia Project<\/i><\/b><\/a> later this month.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\nMeet the 2026 Gold House Futures<\/b><\/h2>\n
