Orange County food lovers have something big<\/a> to look forward to. Anaheim\u2019s $4 billion OCVIBE redevelopment is about to introduce Katella Commons, a massive food destination<\/a> with 21 chef-led kitchens, six bars and lounges, and plenty of options for dining and nightlife.<\/p>\n The giant food hall, set to open in early 2027, will be one of the crown jewels of the sweeping 100-acre transformation surrounding the Honda Center, where developers are building an entertainment district designed to completely reinvent the area.<\/p>\n Katella Commons\u2019 sprawling market hall will feature dozens of food and drink concepts, with dramatic architecture that blends airy open design, natural light, and expansive communal gathering areas into OCVIBE\u2019s larger network of public plazas, according to Secret Los Angeles<\/a>.<\/p>\n Chef R\u00e9mi Lauvand is selecting the 21 kitchens for the hall, aiming to make it Orange County\u2019s top chef-led food market.<\/p>\n Visitors will also find six bars and lounges woven throughout the venue, offering everything from quick pre-show cocktails to full-scale nightlife experiences.<\/p>\n The lineup includes Bar Bacchia, which focuses on cocktails in a cozy setting, and Rea\u2019s Ranch, a beer garden designed to welcome all guests.<\/p>\n While Katella Commons is a destination in its own right, it\u2019s only one piece of the larger OCVIBE vision.<\/p>\n Next year\u2019s rollout is also expected to include the district\u2019s new 5,000-seat concert hall and the expansive Urban Park, which will feature 3 miles of walking trails and an outdoor public art gallery.<\/p>\n Once fully completed in 2033, the mega-development is projected to include more than 20 acres of open space, over 2,000 residences, two hotels, and upwards of 35 distinct dining destinations \u2014 transforming Anaheim\u2019s arena district into one of Southern California\u2019s largest entertainment and lifestyle hubs.<\/p>\n California Post News<\/strong>: Facebook<\/a>, Instagram<\/a>, TikTok<\/a>, X<\/a>, YouTube<\/a>, WhatsApp<\/a>, LinkedIn<\/a>
