It\u2019s that clear.\u201d<\/p>\n That means the christening might be the clearest sign of who has chosen sides in this drama. Though it\u2019s hard to believe anyone will choose Andrew\u2019s side publicly. He has just been arrested for suspicion of misconduct in public office and remains under investigation for his ties to Epstein. The statement from Buckingham Palace about her pregnancy read, \u201cHer Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank<\/a> are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAugust (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cHis Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.\u201d No mention of her mother and father.<\/p>\n Both Eugenie and her sister Beatrice attended the family\u2019s Christmas gathering at Sandringham, but did not attend the recent Easter service. And reportedly, Eugenie is putting some distance between herself and her parents, particularly her father, Andrew<\/a>. The Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>\u00a0recently reported that Eugenie has \u201ccut off\u201d her father and is \u201crefusing to speak to Andrew and did not visit him at Christmas,\u201d with another source adding, \u201cThere is no contact at all, nothing. It\u2019s Brooklyn Beckham level \u2013 she has completely cut him off.\u201d<\/p>\n Beatrice, meanwhile, is trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the Royal Family. They aren\u2019t exactly in regular and close contact at the moment, but Eugenie isn\u2019t trying to walk that line.
