Kim Kardashian is at times a controversial figure, but no one can doubt that she has succeeded at almost everything she has tried \u2014 from modeling, to television, to fashion.<\/p>\n
So it is unusual to see her admit that the California Bar Examination \u2014 the test required to practice law in the state \u2014 has been too difficult for her to overcome, at least for now.<\/p>\n
Kardashian failed the exam last year, and \u2014 according to Page Six \u2014 won\u2019t take it this year<\/a>, either. She didn\u2019t demand that the bar exam be made easier \u2014 which is what some people want to do, given the low pass rate.<\/p>\n Some have even argued that the standards should be lowered because not enough women and minorities are passing it.<\/p>\n Kardashian is not asking for special treatment. By deferring until next year \u2014 when she will presumably have more time to study \u2014 she is showing respect for the institution of the Bar.<\/p>\n The bar exam is hard. It\u2019s supposed to be.<\/p>\n We hope Kim Kardashian tries again. And when she passes, she will have earned it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
