On the Earthshot Prize\u2019s website, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/earthshotprize.org\/people-partners\/ambassadors\/robert-irwin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Irwin is quoted<\/a> as saying,<br \/>\n<em>\u201cThe Earthshot Prize is a beacon of hope for all of us who care<br \/>\nabout the environment and about our ability to ensure a liveable<br \/>\nfuture for ourselves and future generations.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHealthy oceans, ecosystems, and species equal a healthy<br \/>\nplanet, and The Earthshot Prize recognizes the importance of<br \/>\ninvesting and helping grow solutions that protect these critical<br \/>\nresources.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Irwin helped host activities for the 2024 Earthshot Prize in<br \/>\nCape Town, but missed the 2025 edition in Brazil due to appearing<br \/>\non <em>Dancing with the Stars<\/em>. Prince William video called him<br \/>\nduring rehearsals for an episode which aired the same time as the<br \/>\nceremony.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe\u2019re missing you, Robert. Whilst your twinkle toes are<br \/>\ngoing off elsewhere, I need you down here,\u201d<\/em> William joked<br \/>\nbefore wishing him luck.
