Is there anything Robert Irwin hasn\u2019t done? Yes, star in his own movie. Until now, apparently. <\/p>\n
The Aussie Wildlife Warrior has hinted to fans that he\u2019s about to make his big screen debut by posting a film trailer online<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cSomething epic is coming. I\u2019m so excited to finally share what I\u2019ve been working on\u2026 things are about to get wild,\u201d he captioned the sneak peek. <\/p>\n The clip shows Robert dressed in his khakis running through the wilderness with bursts of nature and wildlife. <\/p>\n While we\u2019re given very little details about the upcoming film, we have a title (Max Impact<\/i>) and a promise to learn more through a more detailed trailer yet to come (May 26). <\/p>\n It was just enough information to get fans excited over the 22-year-old\u2019s big screen debut. <\/p>\n \u201cAghhhhh so excited to see more! Let\u2019s goooo,\u201d one excited fan wrote on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWHAAAT this looks epic!\u201d another keen follower wrote. <\/p>\n And others agreed that it was about time we saw Robert on the big screen: \u201cOK I have been waiting for you to be in a movie! Really hope that\u2019s what this is!\u201d<\/p>\n Robert has taken on some minor film projects in his career, including voicing characters in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water<\/i> in 2015 and Zootopia 2<\/i> most recently. He also made a small cameo in Free Willy: Escape from Pirate\u2019s Cove <\/i>in 2010. Max Impact <\/i>will be his first starring role on the big screen. <\/p>\n Just like his late old man, Robert likes to live his life on the edge. Earlier this week, he shared details about the terrifying moment he was death-rolled by a 317kg croc. <\/p>\n \u201cI named this crocodile Jimmy Fallon, like, years ago, and he\u2019s now what we call a boss croc,\u201d he revealed during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWe research crocodiles in the wild to better conserve them, right? The way you do that \u2014 my dad came up with this \u2014 is you actually have to jump on them, right?\u201d Robert said, referring to his late father, Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.<\/p>\n \u201cSo I jumped on the back of Jimmy Fallon and, get this \u2026 he death-rolled me,\u201d he continued. \u201cI jumped onto him. I kid you not \u2013 14 foot [4.2 metres] of crocodile, big croc, death rolls me.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo I\u2019m stuck underneath him with my arm hanging out. I\u2019ve got like, probably, I don\u2019t know, maybe 700 pounds [317kg] on top of me and I\u2019m just like, \u2018What do I do?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Luckily, the croc eventually \u201crolled back the other way\u201d and Robert was able to set himself free. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
