Great news KISS<\/a> fans! Gene Simmons has confirmed the band are back in the studio laying down their first new music in over a decade. <\/p>\n

The Demon made the revelation when speaking to Sienna Hernandez, eponymous host of the KISSbySienna YouTube channel. <\/p>\n

Questioned about the band\u2019s latest activities, Simmons replied: “KISS is in the studio now. So we just recorded a new song, as a matter of fact, that Paul wrote. I can’t tell you more about it. And that’ll be coming out at some point.” <\/p>\n

It\u2019s currently unclear how the new KISS music will be released, however it\u2019s a fair assumption that it will feature in their upcoming avatar show, which is expected to launch in Las Vegas in 2028. <\/p>\n

In an interview with trade publication Pollstar last month<\/a>, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons were asked what music will feature in the avatar show. <\/p>\n

Stanley noted that it will \u201chave all the classics through the years and some surprises\u201d, before Gene Simmons revealed there will also be \u201cnew songs.\u201d <\/p>\n

When asked for clarification on the new music, Simmons explained: “Exactly what that means, written by us. We have songs done.” <\/p>\n

At the completion of their final show at New York\u2019s Madison Square Garden on 2nd December 2023, KISS officially announced their new digital era by unveiling avatars on the venue\u2019s screens as the band’s cover of \u2018God Gave Rock and Roll to You\u2019 played. <\/p>\n

Since then, Swedish entertainment and music investment firm Pophouse, who is the founding investor in the ABBA Voyage show in London, purchased the KISS brand and catalogue in April 2024. <\/p>\n

KISS founding members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, together with guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer will perform two unmasked shows at the second KISS Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas<\/a> event this coming November. <\/p>\n

Nameless Ghoul Aether unmasked<\/h4>\n

In May 2022, Yorkshire musician Chris Catalyst revealed he had been masquerading as the Nameless Ghoul Aetha<\/a> on Ghost’s tours. Following the final arena date of Ghost’s European Imperatour at L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Papp Budapest Sports Arena in Hungary, Catalyst shared a group photo backstage and wrote: “Amaaaazing tour with our wonderful Ghost family. I suppose that’s that particular cat out of the bag. So great to be doing this again. Playing this fantastic music with these brilliant people makes me run out of superlatives.” In June 2023, Catalyst confirmed he’s no longer a touring member of Ghost.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Nameless Ghoul Fire unmasked<\/h4>\n

Chris Catalyst’s end of tour photo also confirmed that Ghost’s Nameless Ghoul lead guitarist, Fire (formerly Alpha), is former Bloodbath guitarist Per Eriksson. Fans have also given the Swedish musician’s character the nickname Sodo. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

John 5 unmasked <\/h4>\n

When he’s performing live with Rob Zombie, guitarist John 5 wears makeup and masks onstage, including this Aliens-esque guise at Download Festival in 2014. The 52-year-old musician has recently been recruited as a touring member of M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce<\/a> and he’s performing sans makeup on stage. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Richie Sambora unmasked <\/h4>\n

In February 2023, former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was unveiled as Jacket Potato<\/a> on ITV show The Masked Singer. Speaking about his involvement in the show, Richie Sambora said: “It took a little getting used to (singing in a potato), but once I put it on, that was it! It’s a wild reality when you do this show, it’s a gas. Everyone has treated me so good here. I’ve had a ball! It’s been a lot of fun.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
