The late James Ransone<\/strong>\u2019s wife, Jamie McPhee<\/strong>, shared a candid message about single parenting in the wake of her husband\u2019s death while celebrating their son\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n

\u201cBaby king Jack is 7 today,\u201d she captioned an Instagram post<\/a> on Tuesday, May 5. \u201cI can\u2019t believe it. The most handsome, stubborn, funny, affectionate, strong boy and we wouldn\u2019t want it any other way. Love you to the moon and back!\u201d<\/p>\n

McPhee shared multiple pictures, many of which included Ransone. She also offered an inside look at Jack losing his first tooth before sending a sweet message to her support system.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo all of our friends and family \u2014 it takes a village indeed. We love everyone so much,\u201d McPhee added. \u201cThank you for all your support, love, kindness, food, tears, and laughs these last 5 months. I can finally see that every day is a gift so on this one we celebrate Jack together. Thank you thank you thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHollywood is mourning the death of actor James Ransone. The Wire star died by suicide on December 19, 2025, according to County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner records viewed by Us Weekly. He was 46. Shortly after news of his death was made public, Jamie McPhee \u2014 who married Ransone in 2017 before welcoming two [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ransone, who was known for his roles in The Wire<\/em><\/a> and It: Chapter Two<\/em>, died by suicide at age 46<\/a> in December 2025. He and McPhee wed in September 2017. Along with Jack, they also shared a daughter named Violet, 4.<\/p>\n

\u201cI told you I have loved you 1000 times before and I know I will love you again,\u201d McPhee captioned an Instagram post days after his death<\/a>. \u201cYou told me \u2013 I need to be more like you and you need to be more like me \u2013 and you were so right.
