The day is FINALLY here. Our 3x Most Anticipated Album<\/a> of the year Social Distortion<\/strong>\u2018s Born to Kill<\/em> is finally out in the world. Rejoice!!! Broken Social Scene<\/strong> haven\u2019t released an album of new material in nine years, but that drought also ends today. It\u2019s been eight years since the last Basement<\/strong> album, so their new one is another one to celebrate. While The Lemon Twigs<\/strong> have remained active, any new music from the power pop band is one to be excited about. Up-and-coming soul artist Brother Wallace<\/strong> shared his electric new LP this week, and Future Teens<\/strong> dropped their latest album which our writer LOVED (read his review of their album<\/a>). San Diegan Americana artist Jack Van Cleaf<\/strong> also surprised this week with a new EP. <\/p>\n The last original rock n\u2019 roll band standing, The Rolling Stones<\/strong>, announced their new album Foreign Tongues<\/em> this week, and dropped two songs from the upcoming album. Announced on their album is Paul McCartney<\/strong>, who also released a new duet with his Beatles<\/strong> bandmate Ringo Starr<\/strong> today. From internationally known, to local heroes Pacific Radio<\/strong>, who\u2019s new single we premiered yesterday, and have in the list today. Angus & Julia Stone<\/strong> take things to the \u2018Karaoke Bar\u2019 on their latest single, while Mod Sun<\/strong> is looking in the \u2018Mirror\u201d on his.<\/p>\n One of my favorite ska-punk groups, The Iron Roses<\/strong>, are back with a bang. Low Cut Connie<\/strong> rocks away on his latest single, and Goose<\/strong>\u2018s latest sounds like a lost track from era\u2019s past.
