Taylor Friankie Paul<\/strong><\/a> is clapping back at Grant Ellis<\/strong><\/a> after he poked fun at her \u201cfelonies\u201d in a recent social media post.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes I\u2019m FAR from a perfect princess bachelorette,\u201d Paul, 31, wrote in an Instagram comment<\/a> on Thursday, May 7. \u201cFeel free to tell him I was also told I was one of the kindest leads they\u2019ve had to both cast and crew \u2764\ufe0fthat\u2019s how.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul\u2019s response came one day after Ellis, 32, posted an Instagram video taking shots at her Bachelorette controversy.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet me get some felonies and become a Mormon so I can get cool with Bachelor Nation,\u201d he wrote on Wednesday, May 6, while shaking his head and laughing. While he didn\u2019t use Paul\u2019s name, fans were quick to point out she was who he appeared to be referencing.<\/p>\n

Ellis has since followed up with multiple Instagram videos also discussing Paul. On Friday, May 8, he alluded that his runner-up, Litia Garr<\/strong>, should have been the Bachelorette over Paul.<\/p>\n

\u201c2 back to back POC [people of color] woulda been the move,\u201d Ellis captioned the clip.<\/p>\n

Paul\u2019s Bachelorette<\/em><\/a> season has been rooted in controversy since the week leading up to its scheduled premiere. So much so that the season has yet to air.<\/p>\n

News broke in March that Paul and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen had allegedly been involved in a domestic dispute the month prior. Utah\u2019s Draper City Police Department confirmed there was an open domestic violence investigation into the couple. By April, authorities confirmed that no charges would be filed.<\/a><\/p>\n

Amid the investigation, a video from 2023 resurfaced, showing Paul throwing a chair at Mortensen while her daughter Indy<\/a>, now 8, stood nearby. (At the time, Taylor pleaded guilty to felony aggravated assault over the incident in exchange for other criminal charges against her being dropped.)<\/p>\n

After the video\u2019s release, ABC announced it was pulling Paul\u2019s season from the air.<\/a><\/p>\n
